Once Upon a Time..
.. there was a prince with golden hair and a steeled chest. The prince fell head over heels in love with sports and made it his business to help the nobility to gain fame and fortune. With his ostlers he rode from the electorate of Mainz towards Dortmund, where king Watzkenius longed for Klopps illustrious services. His task was to put the Westfalencastle and its knighthood back on the map. First successes could be seen in 2008 and 2009 but from 2010 until 2012 the star of the Kingdom of Dortmund should be rise again. The prince's eleven chosen knights rode from win to win and dominated the whole Roman Empire of the German Nation. The inner German joust could be won two times in a row but their masterpiece reached the noble knights in May 2012. In the “Big Battle of Berlin” the Black and Yellow dressed noblemen defeated the House of Wittelbach which has its powerhouse down in the south of Germany – Munich – and won the German horse show. Minstrels still sing the praise of the glory triumph that occurred there.
After a long summer break – it was only interrupted by the international joust (won by Spain) – during which the knight academies repaired their armor and supplied their horses, it is now time for the vassals of prince Klopp to mount their horses again. The challenge now is to defend the title! The first opponent that has to be eliminated to reach the battleground of Berlin is the guild of Oberneuland. The keen alliance from the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen is established in the fourth division of horsemen. Due to high ticket demand of the mob, the battle will be held within the Weserstadion. Much work but no insurmountable task lies in front of the Black and Yellow kingdom.
Black and Yellow Knighthood
Even though the summer break allowed the knights to brace themselves for upcoming tasks, the participation of some of our strongest heroes is still questionable. Our young rider Götzstein still suffers from a trachoma and was not able to absolve all training battles. This is why prince Klopp stated: “Mario is in a brilliant shape, but he isn't totally fit yet.” Furthermore the performances of Mats von Hummelberg, Sebastian Kehlstein, Neven Subotic and Polish horseman “Kuba” are still not sure due to little ailments. Whether they will ride or not, one thing should be sure: Our knighthood is strong enough to defeat the guild.
